WINDSOR DIAMOND" 13 5/8 INCH CHOP PLATE WITH 2 SMALL RIM CHIPS, and made between 1936-1940
made by the Jeannette Glass Co. This glass was machine made by pressing the melted glass into the mold which results in its beautiful design of "Diamonds". Only non-colored clear Diamond Windsor glassware was manufactured after 1940 because of shortages with getting the war time color ingredients.
I'm not aware of any reproductions of the Diamond Windsor pattern made by Jeanette.
I only wish I had more, because it is so gorgeous. When used on a dining room table for entertainment, this bowl must have looked really awesome on the table. It measures 13 5/8 Inches across and is 3/4 inches tall (deep), as can be seen in the photographs. It is absolutely beautiful, and was purchased from an old estate sale on Long Island. It was pre-owned, and, unfortunately, it does has 2 small chips on the rim, which can easily be seen in the last 2 photographs. This is quite understandable because it is between 80 and 84 years old. I found it sitting on top of a large dining room table, where it must have sat for many years and was hardly used, because, amazing enough, there aren't any scratches anywhere on the bottom where they would be expected to be found. I have been collecting unusual vintage objects for many years, and always try to describe the items as best as I can. Except for those 2 small rim chips, I don't see any other chips, fleabites, cracks, scratches, stains, cloudiness, or repairs anywhere on the bowl. It comes from a smoke-free home. I only accept PayPal, and never  charge extra for packaging and handling. Shipping and Insurance sent via USPS Priority Mail costs .85. Payment is expected within 3 days, after which I will immediately ship out the
