VTG CHINESE SPINACH JADE SEMI PRECIOUS STONE RARE Pink FLOWER Arrangement Basket.
Purchased at an antique store. I don’t know anything about this. I’m not a collector of this type of item. Words in title do not necessarily reflex what item is made of. These words in title are used to bring up similar items for sale.
These seems to be made of a green stone. I don’t know for a fact it is spinach or green jade. Flowers seem to have been treated to obtain the color they are. Please not this is made of a material stone and these carved leave and flower petals have lines and veins running their them. I don’t see any parts that have been glued back to gather. One leave needs more support. The leave I’m holding with my finger.
This is shaped like a basket. The green berries are stone or something, but the dark red berries, I thought were plastic, but seem to heat painted a dark color.
Please don’t the clear coat applied to base of item, was not done neatly and has done drips.
