    Description

    This is a preowned (estate sale) set of four painted slate pieces (1 by 3.75 inches) that form a beautiful and ornate scene with writing on the back(see pictures).  I believe it is hand painted(??) and Chinese(??), but I am not sure.  The slate comes in a neat glass topped box (4.5 by 4.75 inches).  Glass edges on top have some wear(see picture).  A neat item and I wish I could provide more information!!!  This would make a welcome addition to any collection.
