Vintage Engraved Chinese Bakelite Birthday Plaque 8 Immortals19x4.5x1.5cm

Description

This plaque from China appears to be made of cream-colored bakelite (it is quite heavy for its size).  Google translate says it is "poems for celebration of a birthday" in the message on the back, and the finely detailed engraving on the front is presumably the eight immortals.  I believe that the red sign is a signature for the engraved artwork on the front.  I do not know the date...this was something my mother purchased years ago.  It weighs 6.5 oz. and is  19 x 4.5 x 1.5 cm.
