    This is a very well done piece with some fine details to the
    carving.  I don't know if it's a single bookend or a decorative
    piece.  In person I see a more flat burnished gold with a
    darker look,
    not
    as bright as in the photos.
    It has no chips, cracks, hairlines, or restoration and has been
    well taken care of.
