    LOT 10 FRENCH BRASS MILITARY BUTTONS ON THE BOTTON
    “EQUIPEMENTS MILITAIRES”
    WW I 5/8 INCH DIAMETER, ORIGINAL PATINA
    NOS (NEW OLD STOCK) Lot of 10 Brass buttons, each stamped Equipements Militaires. The button appears to be brass and are pierced with 2 round 1/16” hole. It is thought that these buttons most probably were used by the French for Musette Canvas Bread Bags during WW I. Equipements Militaires is French for “Military Equipment.” The buttons retain their original patina, and are in very good condition.
