Outfront Motorsports EJ257 Shortblock Forged STI Grocery Getter Stage 2

Description

Outfront Motorsports is a high performance shop specializing in high performance Subaru engines including our world renowned closed deck short block.  This closed deck block design has been proven to withstand extreme boost levels resulting in high cylinder pressures without the worry of cracking the stock liner. The billet material that reinforces the combustion area has been further optimized in our new V3 closed deck block in the known problem areas making it a far superior product to any sleeved block. With a closed deck block the stock sleeves are stil in place eliminating all risk of dropping sleeves and pushing coolant that you have with a sleeved block.
This Block Is Our Base Non Closed Deck (Semi Closed) EJ257 With Forged Internals. This is for 450 WHP or less and under 30 PSI of boost.
This engine consists of the following parts:
Seasoned EJ257 case halves
Forged Pistons (Default is CP or Manley but you can choose any shelf JE, Manley, or CP piston)
H Beam Rods (Default is the Outfront Motorsports House Rods but Manley H Beams can be substituted for no additional charge)
King Performance Bearings
New OEM Subaru Black Nitrite Treated Crankshaft
