    Description

    Up for auction is a Merit Gasoline 1926 Mack tanker truck/bank by Ertl. Merit was founded by the Meadville Corporation in Elizabeth, NJ in 1930. They used the Merit brand name until 2000, when Hess bought out the reaiming part they didn't already own and were converted to Hess until Marathon/Speedway bought Hess. Collectors know there are Hess collectables, but very few Merit items...this would display great with your Hess collectables! There is a paint chip on the top (as seen in the pictures). This comes from a smoke free home.
