    Description

    I am offering an original Vintage Backstamp that was used to stamp Hall China. The backstamp is marked "HALL" within a circular border. Underneath this is "MADE IN USA" and "730".
    While taking a self-guided tour of the Hall China Factory in 1998 I encountered an elderly employee named Olive who was working on Hall China. I stopped to talk to her and she told me that one of her jobs had been to stamp the Hall logo on the china. She showed me the back stamps, bringing out a container of old stamps
    no longer being used and gave me two of the stamps. I have had them all these years, a memento of my trip to the Hall China Factory Tour. I am downsizing and am offering them on ebay.
    This logo was used on Hall China between 1930 and 1970. The stamp is in good condition and shows use. The stamp and the tan colored cushion have hardened and are no longer pliable. The other Hall backstamp that Olive gave me is listed this week. I am starting out the bidding at a very fair price. I don't believe you will ever find other Hall Backstamps for purchase.
