    Description

    This is a Austin era Fibes snare. It is a copper plated steel over spun wound fiberglass drum. I removed the SFT throw off and put on an Inde drums throw off.
    NO NEW HOLES
    were drilled in the shell. I modified a fibes butt plate to attach a standard set of snare wires.
    NO HOLES
    were drilled in the shell for this modification. I am including the original SFT throw off and butt plate and two sets of snare wires with the snare drum. It has a bit of patina on the shell but this is typical of these drums. The drum is in very good condition and plays well.
