    Description

Chinese Water Dropper Calligraphy Porcelain Pomegranate Antique Vintage Excellent. I have no special knowledge of or expertise in Asian porcelain so look closely at the pictures and feel free to ask questions. I did post pictures on an Asian art froum and this was the moderators response which I took to be an educated opinion.
"The reddish color of the glaze hints that it may be from the Shiwan kilns in the Guangzhou (old Canton) suburb of Foshan. It has the form of a pomegranate, which also is red when ripe. In fact there is a famous Shiwan glaze described as 'pomegranate red'. Possibly 19th-early 20th century."
This is in excellent condition with no noted issues. It stands aroud 3 1/2" tall and is around 3 1/2" in diameter, less the spout. Shipped with USPS priority mail.
