Chinese Ingot Bar — “Pay Soldiers” Coin Image - Antique Style Token Cast Vintage

Up for auction is this Chinese ingot piece. Pieces like this were commonly used to pay Chinese soldiers with long ago. It weighs a lot for its size, and is solid. It was made in China. This would make a great teaching tool for Chinese history! It is in beautiful condition! This would be a great gift, or great addition to any collection! It is likely made of a copper based metal and is just plated, gilded, or clad with real silver. I tested it for 0.925 silver and it came back negative, so is likely silver plated or very low purity silver. It looks to be an antique Style, however it is a modern piece made for souvenir purposes. It was just made to look antique, and does not really date as an antique. This is a beautiful piece, and would make a great display piece, gift, research piece, teaching tool, or addition to any collection! Don’t pass it up!
Be sure to check over the details and look at all of the photos so you will know exactly what you’ll get! Again, this is a modern piece, and is only silver plated. Sometimes the photos include a picture of the item next to a ruler so that you can better tell the size of the item. This way we can avoid any accidental sizing issues. My goal is to make you happy!
