BECKER magnificent 4 Club Strawberry Estate.

This 4 Club Strawberry Becker is, without doubt, a magnificent piece of handmade craftsmanship. It is from my personal collection; accumulated over a 53 year span of time (1969--presnt). Moreover, I can unequivocally tell you it is one of the three best smoking pipes I'ver ever owned and smoked--- out of hundreds of handmade briar pipes.

The craggy layering of browns and black hues goes on and on and on—— truly handmade from a phenomenal creative inspiration. Its burnished-like matte finish creates a miraculous visual experience—— don’t know if my pics can do it justice? One has to hold it, turning the bowl with one’s hands to every conceivable angle, in order to genuinely appreciate what Paul Becker accomplished here. The next owner will surely see what I’m attempting to convey with my inadequate words.
But, beside the artistic genius of Fritz
Becker’s son, Paul, on this piece of superb briar, the incomparable smoke and size ( a Dunhill Group 4 class), leaves nothing to be desired by a PIPER who searches for an incomparable long, cool smoke—- the “ pick-ax billiard bowl depth
is DEEP….. I guess “ wickedly deep” IS probably a good description of it ( approx 2.10”), as one individual described the depth when studying this pipe. I have left enough carbon cake in bowl to personally feel it is IDEAL. There will be no “ break in” protocol necessity with this collectible Becker estate. One can readily see I have not attempted to completely remove the slight amount of “ cake” left on the rim top. I see no need to try( with various types of restorative procedures) to make this Becker look “ new," or represent something that’s already quite evident of this pipe having been smoked and thoroughly enjoyed—— as a future owner will eventually add to it with their own tobacco packing, lighting, re-lighting, and many more future smokes. It has been disinfect
The stem is in good shape with little to no tooth chatter or denting….. perhaps a minuscule spot on underside, but slightly noticeable and certainly of no major liability in this estate pipe. The fit-up and tension are excellent.  There are no cracks or issues to mention—- study the very clear, crisp pics, BC they are the most accurate and final description of this Becker Estate.
I do not have, nor can I find, the original black leather pouch.
New, this was a 0. Plus pipe. The price listed here is GENEROUS! At age 80, I can afford to allow a few of my best pipes go at a price to SELL. Will ship USPS first class within 24 HRs of payment.
