    Description

    5-1/2" X 14" Vintage Snare Drum.
    I purchased this drum as part of a collection.  I did not need another snare drum, so I am selling it. It appears to be a refurbished 1950s era Slingerland drum.  I cannot guarantee that it is a Slingerland drum.
    Features:
    - Slingerland 'stick saver' hoops.  The batter hoop shows some corrosion.
    - The wood shell has maple reinforcing rings - consistent with Slingerland drums from the era.
    - The smoothly operating strainer is a reproduction of the Gretsch 'micro sensitive' strainer.
    - The 8 tension lug casings are in good condition with felt wrapped internal springs.,
    - The used Evans batter head is in good condition, tunes up and plays well.
    Note: The pearl wrap has a wrinkle and shows its age.
    The drum will be bubble wrapped and shipped in an oversized corrugated container to protect it.
