1965-1969 Chevrolet C10 Truck 5-Lug Rear Axle Conversion Kit
If you have upgraded the front end on your truck to late model 5-lug on 5" Chevrolet truck bolt circle disc brakes, now is the time to upgrade your rear end! CPP now offers a 5-lug axle conversion that will install in your 6-lug rear end.
Features:
Pair of brand new 30-spline axles
5 x 5 bolt pattern
Fits 1965-1969 rear ends
One pair of brake drums
One set of 1/2" diameter wheel studs
Kit uses existing brake hardware
Axle length is 30.75"
Will not work with original 17-spline posi rear ends
These axles accept 1971-72 truck drums and use the existing brake hardware. 1963-64 trucks require the use of the spider gear set. Will not work with 1960-62 trucks.
Note: Factory 6-lug applications had 7/16" dia. studs and 5 on 5-lug kits have 1/2" dia. studs.
