    Description

    These are brand new speedometer housings for 1955-1957 Chevy's with the Cast Iron Powerglide transmission.
    Original housings were made without any internal seals, so eventually they all develop leaks between the housing and the gear.
    This housing has been reproduced to the tight tolerance fit like the original design, but we also added an internal metal clad seal for extra leak protection.
    We have also included the o-ring seal on the outside of the housing.
    Overall housing length = 2.556" / 64.92mm and will work with any tooth count long style speedometer gears which measure (2.885" / 73.28mm)
    These will also work in some standard shift transmissions, check the measurements from your original housing to see if they match up.
