    This is an original press photo. A Nazi aircraft works and airfield at Villacoublay, five miles from Paris was recently damaged when raided by our B-17's which shot down 15 of the Nazi fighter planes which tried to intercept them, also accounted for 7 probables and 16 damaged, exclusive of the planes destroyed on the ground. Here is the airfield and shops after our bombs had demolished 9 structures including hangars, workshops and assembly plants. The airfield waspock-marked by 450 bomb crafters. Photo measures 9.25 x 7 inches. Photo is dated 08-17-1943.
